Pick Up and Delivery
Upon payment in full, you may pick up your purchases at the auction location or arrange to have them shipped. All purchases should be picked up or shipped within two weeks after the auction. After that time, your property will be subject to a handling charge and you may be charged for storage as outlined in the terms and conditions of sale. The Potomack Company assumes no liability for any damage of property left at the Gallery after the date of sale.

The buyer must arrange for the purchased property to be transported by contacting a shipper directly. Third-party shippers are responsible for handling, packing and freighting all items sold. Below is a list of movers familiar with The Potomack Company that will provide you with an estimate for their services. The Potomack Company cannot assume responsibility for any act or omission of shippers or transport agents.

The buyer is responsible for insurance during transport. All items that are picked up, and not shipped out of Virginia, are subject to Virginia sales tax.
