BULOVA 'INTERNATIONAL 11' WORLD CLOCK, PRESENTED TO THE STAFF OF RONALD REAGAN'S MOSCOW SUMMIT, 1988
walnut finished wood case with brass dial and bezel, rectangular base; dial and movement signed 'Bulova' and 'Quartz', the top with affixed plaque with Presidential seal and 'The Moscow Summit/May 29 - June 2, 1988' with Ronald Reagan's signature etched, the back of the case with door to access movement, signed 'Japan'

Catalogue note:
According to a note in the July 1988 issue of "Horological Times" (pp. 35), "President Reagan presented Bulova "International 11" Clocks to the twenty members of the "Official White House Summit Staff" as a memento of their involvement with the Reagan/Gorbachev meeting. Selected by the White House, each walnut finished solid wood clock has a precise quartz movement and an International dial listing the major cities throughout the world. The clock top has an engraved brass plate bearing the Presidential Seal, Ronald Reagan's signature, [and] an inscription: THE MOSCOW SUMMIT/ MAY 29-JUNE 2, 1988."
