JAPANESE SATSUMA DRUM FORM BOX AND COVER, SIGNED HODODA AND WITH SATSUMA MON, 19TH CENTURY the exterior of box and lid decorated with various flowers, grasses, and birds, and two faux molded handles to sides of box, the interior of box and lid each with a small iris and grass design, the bottom signed 'Hododa' beneath Satsuma mon, h: 2.75 x dia: 3.75 in.
