NOTE: Silver pieces said to have descended in the Corlette family from Cornelia Adeline Abbott (1838-1925), who married Jacob Abbott, and is referenced in the book, "Adams Family" by Andrew N. Adams, page 456, as having family connections to John Adams. Cornelia and Jacob Abbott were grandparents of the consignor's uncle, George Jacob Abbott, who was married to Agnes Irvine McCulley (also MacCulley), sister of the consignor's mother.
