from Northwest Persia in the latter part of the 19th Century, enormous red medallion on ivory ground and well articulated corners, desirably narrow red border with Herati motifs

  • Condition:
  • Overall wear to pile, down to warps in some areas, no noticeable holes or weakness, existing replaced selvedges are loose in some areas, no evidence of other repair or touch-ups, some losses to both ends, colors have remained fresh. No apparent holes, stains or odors.
