Description:

SITZENDORF PORCELAIN CENTERPIECE
with underglaze blue double cross mark and two puce painted under base, formed as three putti playing musical instruments around a leafy and flowered central column, all atop a raised scrolling base with spaced reticulated lattice panels, with flaring faux basketry bowl on top, applied with multi-colored blooming roses, gilt highlights, metal fittings to attach both pieces

  • Dimensions: Height: 16 1/2 in. (41.9 cm.)
  • Condition: Many of leaves and tips of flowers are chipped or have losses. Please note that as visible in photos although basket does fir, there is a gap and it is slightly crooked at join. Currently fastened with museum putty. In my opinion, this centerpiece was made around 1930-1950.
