Note: Andres Acosta has exhibited in many galleries in Washington, DC, Connecticut and Puerto Rico. One of his paintings, a Lincoln portrait, is part of the Ford's Theater permanent collection. He spent years as a successful illustrator, but painting is his passion and after moving to Washington 10 years ago, Acosta returned to full-time painting. He was born in Puerto Rico in 1952, but moved to Connecticut in the early 1960s and attended Paier College of Arts, Wesleyan University and the University of Hartford, all in Connecticut
