Oil on canvas: 30 1/4 x 25 1/4 in.
Framed; lower right signed and dated: A Morton 1838; verso stamped on canvas: "T Brown / 163 High Holborn /London" and associated date stamp "1-38"

Note: This was most likely done at the time of Queen Victoria's Coronation, 28th June 1838. Morton also painted portraits of King William IV (National Maritime Museum BHC3096, BHC3097 and at the Royal Marines Museum 008\74) as well as the Duke of Wellington (Wallace Collection P632)
