circa 1770-80, blue sceptre mark and impressed 1, finely painted in the manner of Watteau with a central vignette of an amorous couple in a wooded landscape, the seated maiden holding an open book, the molded rocaille and entrelac border linked by forget-me-nots and enriched in puce and blue

  • Condition: Restored rim chip, mainly to the reverse, the overpaint now discolored
