  • Provenance:
Estate of Jane Stanton Hitchcock, Georgetown, Washington, D.C. & New York
  • Condition: One fish fork and one dessert knife broken. I have viewed six random pieces from set and all bear the same hallmarks: lion passant, uncrowned leopard and the lower case letter 'd' that corresponds to 1899, plus maker's mark of Carrington & Co. Pattern is a Shell and Thread and each piece bears an armorial device. The set is in good condition and appears to have been used minimally.
