CAUGHLEY PORCELAIN KAKIEMON SAUCE-TUREEN, COVER AND STAND English, circa 1780, apparently unmarked, in the Meissen ‘Tigermuster’ style, the sauce-tureen and stand with a central design of a black striped yellow tiger wrapped around various branches and leaves, with four alternating prunus, maple and floral sprays, with neu-ozier molding and scrolling handles, the domed cover with matching prunus and floral sprays, pear finial, gilt highlights (3) - under tray: 8.25 in. x 6.5 in.; tureen with lid: 5 in. x 7.5 in x 4.5 in.
