of high-shouldered baluster form, with a domed cover surmounted by a Buddhistic lion finial, decorated with sepia-toned landscapes enclosed within shaped cartouches with scattered grape decoration, all reserved on a peach-colored ground, gilt highlights

  • Dimensions: Height: 11 1/2 in. (29.2 cm.)
  • Condition: Several large losses to rim of lid and finial; circular crack with cracks extending. Jar with long arched crack across shoulder, approx. 2 1/2 x 3 in. long. Painted accession numbers to underside of jar and domed cover.
