  • Condition: The overall condition is good. Under uv light there are areas of inpainting a long the stretcher lines; there is a one inch spot in the upper left corner to the left of the drapery hanging on the tree; the garland to the left of "Pan" has areas of inpainting; under "Apollo's" arm there is a 1 x 1/4 in. oval area of inpainting; above "Hermes'" draped leg there is a 1 1/4 x 1/4 in. area of inpainting; under "Zeus's thunderbolt a touch of inpainting; the seated "Venus" has old inpainting in her left cheek and on her chest. There is old crazing visible under the varnish. There is also a very small area of paint loss on the upper right arm of the figure kneeling infront of Zeus.
