COWAN ART POTTERY TWO-HANDLED 'LOGAN' VASE, A COWAN FOOTED BOWL AND A WELLER 'BESLINE' TWO-HANDLED TROPHY VASE / JOHN LESSELL Rocky River, Ohio, circa 1925-1930, printed uppercase mark to the first two, the vase, recorded as shape 649B, of flatten tulip form, flanked by scrolling vine handles, enriched in marigold luster; the scallop-shell shaped bowl, on a fluted oval foot, enriched in a 'larkspur' blue luster glaze, dia: 8 7/8 in.; and the two-handled chalice form trophy vase, Zanesville, OH, circa 1920-1925, relief molded 8, designed by John Lessell (active at Weller 1920-1924), the orange luster glaze with resist Virginia creeper leaf and berry designs (3)
