DELFT BLUE AND WHITE FLUTED EARTHENWARE DISH, MID-TO-LATE 17TH CENTURY
probably Frankfurt or Dutch, blue painted 22 mark, the small central roundel painted in the Chinoiserie taste with a seated male figure, surrounded by a band of loosely painted ogival shapes and overlapping loops, the lobed rim with four additional figures standing and seated in courtyards

  • Dimensions: Diameter: 13 in. (33 cm.)
  • Condition: Large semi-circular section riveted back in place, rims with chips, cracks and losses, footring wrapped in wire for hanging. Firing flaws and glaze gaps scattered throughout
