DERBY PORCELAIN FIGURE GROUP, A DERBY PORCELAIN FIGURE OF MINERVA AND A DERBY PORCELAIN FIGURE OF THE DRESDEN SHEPHERD England, circa 1765-1775, patch marks, incised model N 196 and No 298, the first modeled with two Bacchantes adorning a herm of Pan with a flower garland, a thyrsus, tambourine and ewer at their feet, the rocky mound base applied with flowers and foliage; the second modeled with the goddess of Wisdom standing before a flowering bocage, a shield, an owl and three books at her feet, the rocaille molded base enriched in gilt; the third modeled standing offering a posy, his pink lined black cloak tossed over his shoulder, in floral jacket, yellow bloomers and iron-red breeches, the rocaille foot base enriched in turquoise and applied with clusters of flowers, h: 12.25 in.
