DOULTON & WATTS LAMBETH SALTGLAZE STONEWARE CHARACTER JUG OF ADMIRAL LORD NELSON AND A STEVEN GREEN LAMBETH SALTGLAZE STONEWARE CHARACTER JUG OF NAPOLEON BONAPARTE both modeled in military uniform, the British Admiral jug, 1827-1858, impressed uppercase marks, modeled wearing a cocked hat and an HMS Victory naval medallion, h: 8.5 in.; the French Emperor jug, 1840-1850, impressed uppercase and relief molded cartouche mark, modeled wearing a cocked hat, the scrolled loop handle surmounted by the head of an eagle, h: 7.5 in.
