ENGLISH CREAMWARE IRON-RED GROUND COFFEE POT AND COVER AND A SIMILAR WASTE BOWL
circa 1765, Staffordshire, attributed to Thomas Whieldon, Fenton Vivian; the
coffee pot of pear shape, the lightly domed cover with flower finial, press-molded basketweave spout and entwined rope twist handle, the center enameled with cabbage roses within a quatrefoil cartouche reserved on a black and white diaper trellis ground, h: 6 7/8 in. (the interior of the waste bowl with an iron-red loop edge), dia: 5.75 in. (the waste bowl) (2)
