circa 1760, Staffordshire, painter’s black 8, of globular form with crabstock spout and handle, the slightly domed cover with an upright flower finial, polychrome enameled with a large central peony among smaller flowers, reserved by black cell pattern enriched in green, h: 4 1/2 x l: 7 1/2 in.
