FIVE VIENNA AUGARTEN PORCELAIN FIGURES OF MODERN WOMEN German, 20th Century, blue crowned shield marks, impressed model nos. 1669, 1607, 50, 1593, 1613, various painter's numerals and impressed marks, all modeled standing, including a lavender flower vendor, 'Lavendelverkaeuferin', holding a basket, designed by Jaeger in 1931; a figure of the dancer Tilli Losch from 'Phantom' designed by Mathilde Szendroe-Jaksch in 1929, labeled on the base; a striding Jugendstil woman holding a bouquet of flowers, designed by Ida Schwetz-Lehmann circa 1925, another of a girl in a storm protecting her cloche hat from the wind, designed by Ida Schwetz-Lehmann in 1933; and a second Art Deco dancer, named after Richard Strauss's ballet Whipped Cream, 'Schlagobers-Taenzerin', designed by Mathilde Szendroe-Jaksch in 1927, with a long scarf wearing an exotic Siamese style hat, h: 9.5 in.
