Selb, Germany, including 'Young Moor', dated circa 1940, gilt crowned mark and Bahnhof Selb BAVARIA PASTELL CHINA cartouche mark, recorded as model no. 865, impressed H. MEISEL for the modeler Hugo Meisel, printed mark for the decor designer Otto Koch, the young servant modeled striding carrying a platter of roasted goose, on a stepped rectangular base, h: 7.5 in.; 'Marquis and Companion', cancelled black printed crowned marks, one labeled US-Zone, model nos. 777 and 778, designed by Gustav Oppel, each 18th Century court figure depicted standing in contrapposto, she holding a fan, he a tricorn hat, on a flat rocaille-scroll base, h: 8.25 in. (the taller); and 'The Two Princesses', dated 20th Century, black printed crowned mark, impressed model no. H1511, designed in 1910 and impressed FERD. LIEBERMANN for the modeler Ferdinand Liebermann, depicted as a cautious maiden holding a golden egg while kneeling before a crowned goose, h: 5 in. (4)
