FRENCH CARVED IVORY POMANDER, 18TH CENTURY of flattened circular form, the top carved with Leda and the Swan reserved on the pierce carved scrolling foliate ground, the underside carved with two classical hunting figures and their hounds also reserved on pierced scrolling ground, the reticulated sides carved with ducks, deer and pheasant also reserved by reticulated panels -- 2 1/2in. dia., Note: If the buyer intends to export this pre-CITES lot for commercial purposes, consistent with our definition of commercial, regulations contained in Title 50, of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 14.91, require that they must obtain an import/export license prior to engaging in business as an importer or exporter of wildlife or wildlife products.
