sitters include a young girl identified as Sybil Barlow Rawson Hills (1830-1903) and another older portrait of Sybil; with a portrait of her husband Amos Ball Hills (1828-1909), the note states the image was taken when he was attending Oberlin College, where he graduated in 1853, longtime residents of Minnesota; an additional portrait of Amos Ball Hills taken at Oberlin College, frame signed Eastman for Eastman & Co., who was a daguerreian in Massachusetts from 1847 to 1860; Lyman Rawson (1801-1873) married to Charity Root in 1825; and a portrait of Clarissa Hills (1824-1847), note claims it was taken at Oberlin College; and a framed group of 12 images in period wood frame, identified as Hudson Valley families
