JOSIAH WEDGWOOD & SONS GREEN-GLAZED STONEWARE ADVERTISING TILE
circa 1895, the reverse unmarked, molded in low relief accentuated by the ‘email ombrant’ pooling glaze, the upper left with a portrait medallion of the founder dated 1730-1759, the tile inscribed in capital letters, Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Ltd. Etruria, Potters and Tile Makers, a Portland vase in the lower right labeled Trade Mark, 7 x 4 3/4 in.
