MEISSEN KAKIEMON MILK JUG AND GROUP OF ASSEMBLED TEA CUPS AND SAUCERS most with underglaze blue crossed swords mark; the milk jug, mid-19th Century, on a yellow ground, h: 5 in.; the cups including a yellow ground Kakiemon octagonal cup, the associated saucer with incised Beehive mark; two puce decorated tea cups, one with paint canceled Marcolini mark, a chinoiserie decorated saucer, the exterior with molded prunus flowers; and a quatrefoil green ground saucer decorated with floral and amorous couple reserve, with an associated cup polychrome decorated with lovers in a landscape on a white ground, unmarked, h: (of cups) from 1.75 to 2.25 in.
