MEISSEN PORCELAIN FIGURE OF YOUNG GALLANT late 19th/20th Century, blue crossed swords mark, incised model no. F.73, painter's 3, after the model by Michel Victor Acier (1736-1799) of circa 1777, depicted wearing a black hat, short-sleeve blue jacket and striped scarf, white shirt and breeches, standing beside a tree stump, tethering a love letter to a carrier pigeon, a lamb at his feet, the key-pattern cylindrical base enriched in gilt, h: 7.75 in.
