MEISSEN PORCELAIN MYTHOLOGICAL TWO-LIGHT MANTEL CLOCK mid-to-late 19th Century, blue crossed sword mark, indistinct incised model no. 1030 or 1630, the enamel clock face with importer’s mark for Rittener & Saxby, London, in the Rococo taste, surmounted by a scantily clad winged nymph above a celestial globe, the central metal-mounted enamel dial surrounded by a cartouche-form case with putto supporter, raised on a tree trunk flanked by flowering branches terminating in foliate candleholders and drip pans, the base centering Chronos or Father Time, supported on four rocaille-molded scroll feet, h: 18.75 in.
