MEISSEN PORCELAIN (OUTSIDE-DECORATED) FIGURE GROUP OF A SHEPHERD AND SHEPHERDESS late 19th/20th Century, blue crossed swords mark with one incision, incised model no.1290, impressed 51 and painted 6., after a model by Johann Joachim Kaendler, circa 1750, depicted as a decollete maiden asleep beside a well font, approached by a young shepherd, a bagpipe at his back, attended by a hound and a ram and sheep, h: 10 in.
