Description:

MILLS DENMARK TEAK RECTANGULAR COFFEE TABLE with raised lip design and stamped Mills Denmark on base. Mills Denmark was a Manhattan furniture showroom owned by James Mills that specialized in Scandinavian furniture from designers such Ole Hansen. A vintage advertisement from 1959 reads in part "Mills-Denmark, 227 East 56 Street, New York, is one of the more colorful showrooms in New York. Scandinavian-designed furniture, sometimes considered a bit dull and unbending, has taken on an inviting feeling as James Mills has created warm and vibrant settings." - h:17 w:54 d:22 in.
