NYMPHENBURG FRANKENTHAL STYLE PORCELAIN PASTORAL FIGURE GROUP OF THE DISTURBED SLUMBER, ‘DER GESTORTE SCHLUMMER’ late 19th/20th Century, later green crowned CT monogram mark for Carl Theodor, impressed Bavarian shield mark to base and underside, after the Frankenthal model by Johann Friedrich Luck, in the manner of Francois Boucher, depicted as a sleeping gallant recumbent on a grassy tuft, wearing a pink jacket, white waistcoat and breeches, attended by two maidens, one removing his hat while the other tickles him under the chin, on a gilt enriched rocaille-molded base, h: 6.25 x w: 9 in.
