PAIR OF CHINESE HUANGHUALI CONTINUOUS YOKEBACK ARM CHAIRS, EARLY QING DYNASTY the gently shaped crest rail, over an S-shaped splat, rounding to the back posts continuing through the seat frame to form straight back legs, the curved arm rails supported on an S-shaped brace and straight front post continuing through the frame to form straight front legs, the caned seat set within a frame, the square section legs joined by plain spandrels, a footrail, side and back stretchers; together with a matching but later pair of footrests (4) - h:45 w:23.50 d:18.50 in.
