    Sold by the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley to benefit acquisition and conservation funds. Estate of Julian Wood Glass, Jr. (1910-1992) of Winchester, Virginia; New York, New York; and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
  • Dimensions: 4 x 9 3/4 x 4 1/4 in. (10.16 x 24.77 x 10.80 cm.)
  • Condition: Gilding loss, particularly along upper edges, leaf and vine gilt motif is almost completely gone on one example, one example is cracked along back wall and across bottom (and was later poorly repaired), interior lid supports missing and/or cracked on both examples, both examples missing the original lids, missing pierced covers
