incised StC T marks, both of cooler form, flanked by gaping grotesque mask handles, the side molded with a wide band of flowers and foliage among rockery, the rolled rim and lower body gadrooned (2)

Honey, "French Porcelain of the 18th Century", (1950), no. 9. Noteworthy, the ‘T' in the incised StC T mark is thought to refer to Henri Trou into whose family the factory passed by marriage in 1722.
  • Dimensions: Height: 4 in. (10.2 cm.), Diameter: 5 3/4 in. (14.6 cm.)
  • Condition: Firing crack to ribbed rim and associated hairline through flower stem (approx. 1 1/2 in.), touch ups along rim of base
