PAIR OF UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND WHITE ARITA DISHES, EDO PERIOD the dishes with a central spray and other stylized flowers in the central roundel, the reverse with three sprays and a central calligraphic inscription, dia: 7 in.; together with a molded underglaze blue and iron red bowl decorated with a leafy chrysanthemum and flowering prunus enclosed within a red ring of stylized flowerheads and scroll work, the reverse with a 'chop' mark in iron red and six floral sprays to outside, dia. 8.5 in.
