ROOKWOOD ART POTTERY LARGE VASE, A ROOKWOOD BOWL AND AN AMERICAN ENCAUSTIC TILING COMPANY ART DECO NUDE / LEON SOLON Cincinnati, OH, date cyphers for 1960 and 1918, impressed RP flame marks to both, the vase also impressed ROOKWOOD and Cinci O beneath a circular drill target, model nos. 2984B and 928E; the first, a tall oviform vase with trumpet neck, frothy blue flambe lava glazes, h: 15 in.; the second, a circular bowl, satin finish in turquoise glaze; and the third, an Art Deco sculptural soap holder, Zanesville, OH, circa 1930, impressed AETCO mark, designed by Leon-Victor Solon, modeled kneeling, the semi-clad female figure wearing a headscarf and cascading drapery, supporting a large bowl on her shoulder, on a stepped rectangular base, in vitrified translucent blue-green glaze (3)
