attributed to Coalport, Shropshire, England, eight of them marked on reverse with "2" (probably a pattern reference), the other eight marked with an anchor in imitation of Chelsea porcelain (16)

    Sold by the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley to benefit acquisition and conservation funds. Estate of Julian Wood Glass, Jr. (1910-1992) of Winchester, Virginia; New York, New York; and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
  • Dimensions: Diameter: 10 1/4 in. ( x 26.04 cm.)
  • Condition: Deaccessioned examples have slightly more wear, loss of gilding, etc.
