apparently unmarked but monogrammed and dated under base, of baluster form with fluted band to lower section, gadrooned bands at rim and base, with softwood carved handle and flower-form finial, later monogram to underside

  • Provenance: From Marshall Field & Company, Antique Silver Collection, no. S 3631-2
  • Dimensions: Height: 9 3/4 in. (24.77 cm.)
  • Condition: Gift card inside from Marshall Fields (Chicago) Antiques Shop, dates this pot from 1810. Some rosing around rim of pot. Rosing also around edges of spout. Lid is not hinged just set in. Base of lid slightly out of round.
