SILVER-GILT MOUNTED ENGLISH LIGHT-BLUE DIP JASPERWARE OCTAGONAL SCENT-BOTTLE, 'PEACE AND LABOUR' circa 1790-1795, unmarked, attributed to Wedgwood, modeled by Henry Webber, of flattened octagonal form, applied in white relief with Pax holding an olive branch as Labour sets on a strong plinth, the border with stiff leaf tips, the screw-top with scalloped ornament below, the silver-gilt cover with pendant ring, h: 4 in.
