SOUTHERN FEDERAL INLAID WALNUT CHEST ON CHEST, ATTRIBUTED TO CHRISTIAN BEAR (BEHRE), SHENANDOAH COUNTY, VA, CIRCA 1800-1810 from Churchville, VA, made in Shenandoah County, rectangular form with a tall bonnet consisting of an exaggerated broken pediment with inlaid rosettes over three short drawers above two short drawers over four graduated drawers set upon a base consisting of two long drawers over a shaped inlaid skirt with an inlaid center medallion on splayed French bracket feet, barber pole inlay throughout chest on chest.
