SOVIET PROPAGANDA PORCELAIN FIGURE GROUP OF TWO STEVEDORES UNLOADING SACKS OF AMERICAN GRAIN Russia, mid-to-late 20th Century, blue painted and impressed hammer, sickle and cog, impressed crescent modeler's mark, after the model by Natalya Danko of 1922, painted in black with her name, realistically modeled, the standing figure of a stevedore wearing a blue waistcoat, the seated figure wearing a red waistcoat, one sack with a painted stamp 'AMERICAIN MEAL USA', another sack with a painted Cyrillic stamp 'GOSTORG RSFSR PETROGRAD', h: 6.5 in.
