Every year since 1973, the National Women's Hall of Fame has inducted American women who have made a lasting contribution to American history. Its guiding mission is to "Showcase great women…Inspiring all!," honoring the women of the past, relating the history of women's struggles, preparing the women of the future, and serving as a voice celebrating the value of women. Justice Ginsburg was inducted in 2002 at a ceremony in Seneca Falls, New York.
