See Christie's New York Sale 2729, Lot 234 for a similar example, sold for $47,500. Thomas Molesworth (1890-1977) was a noted designer associated with the American West. His 1930s furnishings for Moses Annenberg's "Ranch A" in Wyoming established Molesworth as a leading Western designer. In 1931 he founded the Shoshone Furniture Company to produce his designs and Moleworth's pieces were sought after for many preeminent Western lodges and hotels. A collection of "Ranch A" furnishings was auctioned at Christie's in 2013 - h:36 w:58 in.
