THREE ENGLISH TEA CADDIES, 18TH/ 19TH CENTURY the first of long hexagonal navette shape, the sides with quillwork decoration, and inlaid ropetwist borders, small handle handle to lid, with matching internal cover, h: 5 in.; the next of rectangular shape with a raised lid, laid to lid with a flowering branch in navette-shaped cartouche, the front with a basket of flowers in a similarly shaped cartouche, the borders inlaid with varicolored wood specimen bands and stylized corner fans, the interior fitted with two covers centered by inlaid eagle in central patera, red satin lining, w: 8.25 in.; the last a small simple caddy with plain crossbanding, diamond shaped ivory escutcheon, red paper lining, w: 4 7/8 in.
