TWO BERLIN (KPM) PORCELAIN SMALL ZODIAC FIGURES OF BOYS AND A MEISSEN PORCELAIN PUTTO EMBLEMATIC OF SPRING late 19th/20th Century, blue sceptre mark and cyphers to two, both designed by F.E. Meyer and a blue crossed swords mark at the back of the third; the first, a Zodiac figure allegorical of the month of September modeled sampling harvested fruit from his hat, the corresponding Zodiac emblem Libra displayed on a small plaque at the base, h: 4 in.; the second, allegorical of December modeled as a woodsman holding an axe and a goblet in each hand, a Capricorn plaque at the base, h: 4 in.; the third, a putto allegorical of the season Spring depicted standing wearing a garland of flowers and a wreath, offering a posy from a flower-filled basket, h: 5.5 in.
