the first, of fluted hexagonal shape, the center delicately painted with birds on flowering branches enclosed within a band of floral scrollwork, w: 4 7/8 in.; a larger quatrilobed dish painted in tones of puce with blossoming roses and chrysanthemum enclosed within a wavy scale patterned border, w: 7 1/2 in.; together with an oval English transfer-printed chinoiserie example, w: 6 1/2 in.; and a later decorated oval dish with a central gilt sunburst within a thin oval cartouche and rust and yellow gilt-highlighted band to rims, w: 6 in.
