TWO CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE VASES, QING DYNASTY (19TH CENTURY) both in the Rose Medallion taste, the first, of baluster form with molded masks and faux rings to shoulders, the body enameled with shaped cartouches enclosing dignitaries at leisure on a white ground strewn with plant sprigs, butterflies and Buddhistic emblems, h: 13.25 in.; the other also of baluster form with molded dragons to shoulders and Buddhistic lion faux handles to neck, with figural cartouches edged with keyfret on a white ground decorated with flowerheads and Buddhistic emblems, butterflies and fruit, h: 14.25 in.
