TWO MEISSEN PICTORIAL CUPS AND SAUCERS, MID-18TH CENTURY each with underglaze blue crossed swords mark, the first cup also painted 5 in gilt, polychrome decorated with a boy playing a horn within a reserve bordered by a green laurel garland, the saucer with a boy artist within a landscape, h: (of cup) 2.25 in.; the second, polychrome decorated with a lady with flowers in her apron within rocaille scrolls and flowers on a white ground, with complementary saucer, h: (of cup) 2.5 in.
