TWO MEISSEN PORCELAIN LARGE SCHNEEBALLEN FLOWER-ENCRUSTED VASES AND COVERS mid-and-late 19th Century, blue crossed swords marks, incised model nos. 2766, one with incision below, this example likely outside-decorated and impressed 74, the other incised 44, each of pear-shape, the domed cover applied with a songbird perched on a vine branch, the mayflower blossom-encrusted form applied over all with spreading leafy vines, one shoulder with a large perching cockatoo, the other shoulder with a smaller parrot, the domed foot with a small yellow nesting bunting, h: 21.5 in.
