TWO WEDGWOOD CREAMWARE TRANSFER-PRINTED AND ENRICHED SHELL-MOLDED PLATES
circa 1770-1780, impressed uppercase marks and cyphers, the printed decoration attributed to Guy Green of Liverpool, each transfer-printed in black and enriched in translucent emerald green enamels with a variety of shells and seaweed, the largest shell identified as a Nassa snail, the shell-molded rim enriched with a green line, dia: 8 in.
