TWO WEDGWOOD MAJOLICA FIGURES OF A FISHERMAN AND A FISHERWOMAN date codes for 1872 and 1873, impressed uppercase marks and cyphers, pattern no. (M)1296 to him, she recorded as pattern (M)1210, each modeled standing, wearing traditional garb, he emptying fish from a net into a stave barrel, h: 10 1/2 in.; she slightly stooped, gesturing above a turquoise-lined basket, the mottled circular bases trimmed with rope and banded in turquoise, h: 10 1/4 in. (2)
